UK - England to Wales

Some photos from inside St Cuthbert Church... the magnificent renovated ceiling (top) and a section of the ancient stonework they have left as it was prior to renovation (bottom). After leaving the church we walked through the centre of town where spring water gushes down the sides of the main street. Apparently Bishop Bekynton granted Wells township access to this water in 1451. Just as it did for centuries, a bustling market was operating in the town centre not far from Bishop's Palace.
